About Us

President Christina Papachristos

Christina has been committed to Midas since its inception. She attends Garden City High School. She was born in NY but remains very close to her Greek roots. She is an active St. Paul’s GOYA member as well as a member of the St.Paul’s Greek dance team. She is a committed member of Garden City’s National Charity league, volunteering regularly at local charity events. She was selected to be a Garden City High School peer educator and has been trained to help teach students about the dangers of alcohol and vaping and to help promote mental health.

Vice President Artemis Vlogianitis
Artemis Vlogianitis attends Garden City High School. She is an active member of both her Greek and town communities. She is a committed member of the yearbook club, best buddies, and SADD club. She also participates in both Varsity Winter Track and Varsity Badminton as a captain. Since she was little, she has participated in activities at the Cathedral of St.Paul Hempstead, such as GOYA, or maids of Athena. Also participating in GOYA volleyball. Artemis loves to volunteer and participate in programs outside of school, like the National Charity League. Which she volunteers with all year long for many years.

Treasurer Christina Vasilakis
Christina attends Garden City High School and is an active member at her school through Key Club, Miracle Club, and Varsity Volleyball. She also plays on LI Surge Club Volleyball and her church volleyball team. She has been a very activ member of the Cathedral of St.Paul in Hempstead since she was born and continues that through her active participation in GOYA, Greek Dance, and Choir. Christina volunteers on a regular basis through numerous programs through the Cathedral. She also volunteers to tutor children who need support with their academic work.

Co-Founders Liliana Papachristos and Adam Hadjipateras
Raised with philanthropic values and a strong Greek heritage, Liliana and Adam founded The Midas T in 2018 with a goal to help communities in need. They combined their creativity and passion to design and sell Greek themed apparel in which all the proceeds went to wonderful nonprofit organizations such as The HomeProject in Greece, IOCC's Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund and St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Queens.
